Message from Our Founder

It started with a dream!

JollyCare Residential Services’ Purpose is to provide our clients with reliable, skilled, and professional caregivers. The benefit of our services enable our clients to be well taken care of while still leading an active life and gives family members peace of mind. JollyCare RS, I as the founder and owner, is dedicated to providing high quality, safe, and compassionate care to all of our clients. The mission and vision statements are sentiments of my heart and commitment to our communities and to those that will be in our care.

During the summer of 2019, I resigned from federal government so that I could move closer to my mother and to help my siblings provide our mom with the personal care she needed. Unfortunately, a few months later, our dear mother passed away. Though I returned to federal government as a full-time official shortly after, I began to consider that after 20+ years of federal service, I was no longer fully satisfied in my chosen career field. 

Visioning a company that could assist families in caring for their loved ones and to provide companionship and care to our most vulnerable populations in the absence of or in supportiveness to family members, JollyCare Residential Services was dreamed and developed. It was after several discussions with my youngest daughter Ellie, that I choose the name JollyCare Residential Services in honor and remembrance of my mother, Jollyette Joynes. I choose the JollyCare RS logo as that is me holding my mother’s hand while she was sleeping in her hospital bed shortly before she passed. I am so grateful to have been able to be there and to have such a loving memory and symbol of our love and support for one another.

Caring for others has always been my desire and honor. While spending 11 years in the U.S. Coast Guard, I trained and was certified as an EMT for the State of New York and also for the State of Florida. My signature block signs off with Veteran Still Serving and has done so since 2008. Service to others has been my life long goal and will continue to be so. My mission is to help our clients, not just in words, but also by our actions. It is not just about why JollyCare RS exists, who we serve, or what we do. What distinguishes JollyCare Residential Services is how compassionately we care for others. I deeply believe that our agency and our people must be free to do the right things the right way. That is why JollyCare RS ensures that all personal caregivers are experienced and are CPR certified and first aid trained. However, what I have been trained most on is how to care for and love others, as I love thyself. As a leader, this caring and loving spirit is what I will model and mentor to all of JollyCare RS’ staff, managers, as well as others in the communities we serve. 

I am grateful to the many clients, organizations, and companies who have worked with us so far, and I look forward to building new relationships and working with new clients, JollyCare Residential Services team members, and partners in the years ahead.
